Yellow roses signify friendship or joy. They are also a good way to send a get well message!
The pink rose carries a meaning of love, gratitude or appreciation. This is a very nice
way to say "Thank you."
Finally, we come to the orange rose...the symbol of desire, passion or enthusiasm.
This a good choice for a graduate, post-recital gift, or just a way to say "Good job!"

Say It With Roses! Part I
It is said that there is symbolism in the color of roses when one person gives them to another as a gift.
Here are some of the colors and what they mean:
The red rose is the universally symbolic of love and romance. It is the perfect way to say "I love you!"
A lavender rose suggests regal majesty and splendor. These might make the perfect accent in a bouquet for one who wins a beauty pageant or is named Homecoming Queen?
White roses signify purity, innocence, & sympathy. That's probably why they are common
components of weddings and funerals.
Stay tuned: more about the symbolism of roses coming soon!
