Meet Hector Montoya..he's a 9 year old from Texas who was saving up his money for a Playstation 4.
While watching the news earlier this year, this young man saw a story about house fires in his area and how the situation could have been prevented if people had smoke detectors in their homes.

What did Hector do? He used the $300 he saved for the Playstation to purchase 100 smoke detectors.
With the help of local firefighters he went door to door and helped install them for those in need.
